Vail, Colorado Lodging - Condos & Hotels

The Vail Valley provides guests with spacious hotels, quaint bed and breakfast inns and comfortable homes and condominiums for every guests' taste and budget. And, the quality of lodging continues to improve as properties are upgrading and enhancing what they currently offer to provide guests with more value for their vacation dollar.

Lodging Quality Assurance

The Lodge Quality Assurance program is a unique, community-wide initiative designed to provide guests with detailed information about their lodging options and enhance the quality of lodging throughout the resort. Now in its third year, this program has made tremendous strides in improving the overall lodging inventory in Vail. The LQA process guarantees that:

  • Every interior detail of a lodge's rooms has been inspected and scored.
  • The details have been compiled and each property is assigned an overall lodging quality score from Platinum to Bronze.
  • A Platinum property represents the finest accommodations. Furnishings and accessories, as well as all other aspects of the unit are superior in style design and quality.
  • A Gold property is both inviting and stylish. The rating reflects contemporary design motifs and high quality appointments. Inventory contained within each room is upscale and in excellent condition.
  • A Silver property offers comfortable accommodations with furniture that is gently used. A consistent design is apparent throughout, although may be lacking in finishing touches.
  • Bronze properties don't offer any frills, but an acceptable lodging experience. Furnishings in each room are modest, meeting basic expectations.
  • Some units also may be deemed substandard at which point those specific units have been dropped or will be released from the lodging inventory through the central reservations systems.
  • LQA ratings do not take into account lodging locations, costs or amenities.
  • Property owners throughout Vail have initiated upgrades and enhancements to their rental units in order to improve scores.
  • Regular communication with property owners has been established to assist in the upgrade process.
  • Guest feedback on the lodging experience will be collected on a seasonal basis (Winter/Summer) and distributed to the lodging community.

Overall, the LQA allows consumers to make educated decisions on the quality of the rental property.

  • Ratings information is available at and
  • Lodging scores are available to guests via the Vail/Beaver Creek Central Reservations system at (800) 404-3535 and Vail Valley Chamber & Tourism Bureau Central Reservations at (800) 525-3875.
