World Cup Freestyle Events
World Cup Freestyle action is in Fernie for three years and world-class athletes were welcomed to Fernie January 25 and 26, 2003 for the inaugural event. This is a worldwide series featuring the best freestyle skiers in the world competing in Dual Moguls and Aerial Events and includes other stops at Lake Placid, Mont Tremblant and Deer Valley. With a successful first event under the belt and athletes claiming Fernie to be the most welcoming stop on the circuit, this small B.C. town is looking forward to the 2004 event scheduled for January 24 and 25.

Fernie Experience
Everything about the Fernie Experience seems surreal – the entire area is steeped in lore and legend. Mountain Biking in Fernie
This summer Fernie Alpine Resort has been chosen as the site for the series final of Canada’s leading mountain bike event. After the successful races held last summer at Fernie Alpine Resort, the Kokanee Canada Cup Series Final will be held August 3rd & 4th, 2002. The event includes downhill, cross-country and dual slalom disciplines.
