Food writers across the country are taking notice of chef innovation in this small resort boasting over 50 restaurants and bars. New approaches in American cuisine, wine cellars that rival those found on either coast and tasting menus prepared by seasoned chefs create the perfect atmosphere to match any mood.

Perched at 10,550 feet above sea level, Allred's has received stellar reviews and critical acclaim for its sensational cuisine and spectacular views. Chef de cuisine Bob Scherner and his innovative culinary techniques have earned the highest of praise from publications such as Wine Spectator, Ski Magazine, USA Today and Gourmet Magazine as well as an invitation to renowned James Beard House. Just a block from the base of the gondola, Bluepoint is a hip and chic seafood and steak house with the laid back feel of the Rocky Mountains. 9545 Restaurant and Bar is Telluride's only ski-in/ski-out fine dining eatery. Located at the top of Lift 1, 9545 offers exceptional mountainside dining at the Inn at Lost Creek. Steeped in Telluride history, Harmon's at The Depot is housed within the historic train depot along the San Miguel River. Italian-born Paolo Canclini brought a touch of Italy to the San Juan Mountains with Rustico Ristorante in Telluride and La Piazza del Villaggio in Mountain Village. Reminiscent of cozy Italian villas, the ambiance of both restaurants incorporates the art and architecture of their homeland. Rustico features a trattoria-style menu of fresh-made pastas and pizza in a wood-fired oven. Set in a quaint historic house off Main Street, Campagna serves the traditional food of the Tuscan countryside, created with the finest in season ingredients.
