KEYSTONE RESORT KICKS OFF SUMMER FULL OF FESTIVALS WITH THE ANNUAL RIVER RUN CELTIC FESTIVAL - JUNE 26 & 27

KEYSTONE, Colo. - June 23, 2004 - Join in a tribute to Irish, Scottish, Welch and Gaelic culture as peddlers, dancers, pipers and more gather from near and far to share their trades, crafts and talents at Keystone Resort Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2004.  Visit the River Run Events Plaza and relish in a weekend festival featuring the unique combination of traditional and progressive Celtic workmanship. 

The Celtic Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.  Browse through one-of-a-kind jewelry and handcrafts, while listening to celebrated Celtic Music from the Indulgers, Carbon Leaf, Colcannon, Clumsy Lovers, the Wayfarers, and more.  The dance floor will feature Irish stepdancing and pipe bands from the Colorado region. Keystone Resort and River Run Restaurants will prepare delicious Celtic fare while Guinness, Harp and Smithwick's provide the authentic Celtic brews.

While at Keystone, don't forget to check out the Park Lane Pavilion in River Run, where there will be even more festivities. On Saturday, June 26, 2004, from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., enjoy a Celtic Dance Competition where Scottish and Irish country dance exhibitions will take center stage to compete for top honors in a whirlwind of percussive steps and precise sequences. On Sunday, June 27, 2004 there will be a Ceili Dance Workshop from 12 - 1:30 p.m.  All ages and abilities are welcome to sidestep with the Heritage Irish Stepdancers.  Also on Sunday, from 2 - 4 p.m., sing along to harmonious ballads as Brian Clancy and Henry the Fiddler belt out fiddle tunes and pub songs.
